Travel medicine

We offer you and your family personalized medical advice on health risks and preventative measures, especially for long-distance travel. You benefit from our many years of experience in preventative care and our own extensive travel experience. It's important that you schedule an appointment well in advance of your departure. 4-6 weeks before departure is usually a good time—but earlier is welcome!

Our offer for you

Travel medical health advice

We offer advice and administration on all types of protective and travel vaccinations, including yellow fever vaccination, as well as immunity testing (monitoring vaccination success) through laboratory diagnostics. Vaccinations against dengue fever and chikungunya are also regularly available.

G35 examination

Preliminary examinations for volunteer services and aid projects, e.g., "weltwärts," in compliance with the recommendations of the G35 examination, including follow-up examinations after returning from the assignment. Extensive experience in examining young volunteers and their specific risks and needs.

Traveling during pregnancy

Pregnancy is not an illness, so travel and selected vaccinations are generally possible during pregnancy. Especially for long-distance trips to exotic countries, we recommend individual consultations with a focus on gynecology and travel medicine. Benefit from our comprehensive expertise.

Yellow fever vaccination center

We are a yellow fever vaccination center certified by the Darmstadt Regional Council according to WHO guidelines. Vaccination is strongly recommended or even mandatory for travel to affected areas.

Travel medical check-up

If you are planning to stay abroad for a longer period of time, an individual travel medical check-up can be useful and help reduce health risks.

High-altitude medicine

Altitude medical consultations and examinations for trekking tours and package tours in specific regions such as Peru, Kilimanjaro, and the Himalayas. Altitude sickness and sensible prophylactic measures.

Vector-borne diseases

Mainly in the tropics and subtropics, mosquitoes transmit various diseases such as Zika, Dengue, Chikungunya and Malaria.

Diving medicine

A diving fitness examination is essential for recreational divers to minimize health risks and ensure that they are able to meet the physical demands of diving.

Back sick from vacation

We regularly conduct examinations after a stay abroad or in the tropics. Should you return from your trip ill, a physician is usually available to see you at short notice.
