Privacy Policy
The operators of this website take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations, this privacy policy, and medical confidentiality. Use of our website is generally possible without providing personal data. Insofar as personal data (e.g., name, date of birth, address, and contact details such as email addresses) is collected on our website, this is always done on a voluntary basis, where possible. Please note that data transmission over the internet (e.g., when communicating by email) can have security vulnerabilities. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.
Medical confidentiality
Doctors' duty of confidentiality applies to the following information:
• The patient's name and other data
• the contents of the patient file and other findings
• the fact that the patient was treated by the doctor
• any statements or opinions confided to the doctor
• Information on professional, financial, or family circumstances
• Things the doctor involuntarily witnessed, e.g. during a home visit
• Information provided by the patient about a third party
The legal basis is, among other things, Section 203 of the Criminal Code (StGB).
In addition to the duty of confidentiality for doctors, this also applies to non-medical staff. All employees have been trained and bound accordingly.
Cookies
Our website uses cookies. Cookies help make our website more user-friendly, effective, and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer by your browser. We primarily use so-called "session cookies." These are automatically deleted after your visit ends, provided you configure your browser accordingly. You can generally configure your browser to notify you when cookies are being set and to allow them only in specific cases, or to block them entirely or for certain websites. Please note, however, that disabling cookies may limit the functionality of this website.
SSL encryption
This site uses SSL encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential information, such as inquiries you send to us as the site operator. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the browser's address bar changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the padlock icon in your browser's address bar. When SSL encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
Server log files
The hosting provider automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits. This typically includes: browser type and version, operating system used, URL, hostname of the accessing computer, and time of the server request.
This data cannot be attributed to individual persons or users. This data will not be combined with other data sources. We reserve the right to review this data subsequently if we become aware of concrete indications of unlawful use. In this case, we will provide the server log files to the investigating authorities.
Contact form
When you submit inquiries to us via a contact form, your information from the inquiry form, including the contact details you provide, will be stored by us for processing the inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We will not share this data without your consent. The use of this data is always confidential and in compliance with statutory data protection regulations, this privacy policy, and medical confidentiality. This also applies to all non-medical staff members in our practice.

Use of web fonts
This website uses external fonts, specifically Google Fonts. Google Fonts is a service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). These web fonts are integrated by making a server request, usually to a Google server in the USA. This transmits information to the server about which of our web pages you have visited. Google also stores the IP address of the browser of the device used by visitors to this website. Further information can be found in Google's privacy policy, which you can access here:

Using Google Maps
On our website, we use Google Maps (API) from Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). Google Maps is a web service for displaying interactive maps to visually represent geographic information. Using this service allows us to show you our location and makes it easier for you to find directions. When you access any page on our website that includes a Google Maps map, information about your use of our website (such as your IP address) is transmitted to and stored on Google servers in the USA. This occurs regardless of whether you have a Google account and are logged in. If you are logged in to Google, your data will be directly associated with your account. If you do not want this association with your Google profile, you must log out before activating the button. Google stores your data (even for users who are not logged in) as usage profiles and analyzes them. Such analysis is carried out, in particular, pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on Google's legitimate interests in displaying personalized advertising, conducting market research, and/or tailoring its website to user needs. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, and to exercise this right, you must contact Google. Google LLC, based in the USA, is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework, which ensures compliance with the level of data protection applicable in the EU. If you do not agree to the future transfer of your data to Google in connection with the use of Google Maps, you can also completely deactivate the Google Maps web service by disabling JavaScript in your browser. Google Maps, and therefore the map display on this website, will then be unavailable.
You can view Google's terms of service at http://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/terms/regional.html, and the additional terms of service for Google Maps at https://www.google.com/intl/de_US/help/terms_maps.html
Detailed information on data protection in connection with the use of Google Maps can be found on Google's website ("Google Privacy Policy"): http://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy

Our website uses so-called "widget graphics" from the rating portal Jameda.
These widget graphics display current rating information about our practice. This information is not used to process user data. External links will take you to the Jameda website, where you can voluntarily submit an online review.
Further information on how Jameda processes personal data can be found on the Jameda website: https://www.jameda.de/jameda/datenschutz.php
Standardized queries via Jotform
We use externally linked subframes and external links to create standardized questionnaires, such as medical history forms. Personal data is collected in this process. If the user enters data themselves, this is done voluntarily. An offline version is available. The collected data will only be used within the scope of your medical consultation and treatment at our practice.
You can revoke your consent to the collection and use of your personal data at any time with effect for the future, provided that this does not conflict with other legal regulations, e.g. retention periods for medical documentation.

Google Analytics
This website uses functions of the web analytics service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Google Analytics uses cookies, which are stored on your computer by your browser and enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated about your use of this website is generally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and processed there.
IP anonymization
We have activated the IP anonymization function on our website. This means that your IP address is shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area before being transmitted to the USA. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. Google can use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.
Browser Plugin
You can prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting your browser settings; however, please note that in this case you may not be able to fully utilize all the functions of this website. Furthermore, you can prevent Google from collecting and processing data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de
Objection to data collection
You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data by clicking on the following link. This will set an opt-out cookie that prevents the collection of your data on future visits to this website: Disable Google Analytics.
For more information on how Google Analytics handles user data, please see Google's privacy policy: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=de
Demographic characteristics in Google Analytics
This website uses the "demographic characteristics" feature of Google Analytics. This allows reports to be generated that contain information about the age, gender, and interests of website visitors. This data comes from Google's interest-based advertising and from third-party visitor data. This data cannot be attributed to any specific individual. You can deactivate this feature at any time via the ad settings in your Google account or generally prohibit the collection of your data by Google Analytics as described in the section "Objection to data collection".
Right to information, erasure, blocking
You have the right to request information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients, and the purpose of the data processing, as well as the right to rectification, blocking, or erasure of this data. You can contact us using the contact details provided in the legal notice.
Objection to receiving advertising information / advertising emails

Website analysis with Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, after obtaining the user's consent. The responsible entity is Google Ireland Limited, Google Building Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland, for users from the EU/EEA and Switzerland. Google Analytics 4 uses IP anonymization by default, meaning your IP address is immediately shortened when you interact with this website. Only in exceptional cases will your full IP address be transmitted to a Google server located in the USA and shortened there. Google assures that the IP address transmitted via Google Analytics will never be combined with other Google data. Google Analytics 4 is only activated with your consent via the cookie banner and can be deactivated at any time via the cookie settings.
The processed data includes: usage data such as page views, website interaction, general location, and visit duration; and communication data such as truncated IP addresses, user agent, language settings, and screen resolution. The purpose of this data processing is for Google to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activity, and analyze website performance on your behalf. This data processing is lawful, based on your consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR and Section 25 para. 1 sentence 1 TDDDG.
Google Ireland Limited, Google LLC, and Alphabet Inc. are the recipients of this data. Your website usage information is generally sent to a Google server in the USA, an action legitimized by the European Commission's recent adequacy decision of July 10, 2023, which recognizes Google LLC's certification under the EU-US Privacy Shield. Regarding data storage, any data associated with cookies is automatically deleted after a certain period: monthly for data that has reached its retention period, and for a maximum of two years for Google Analytics cookies.
For more information on Google Analytics' terms of service and Google's privacy policy, please visit {link}https://policies.google.com/{link-end} and {link}https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/12017362{link-end}.
Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies," text files that are stored on the website visitor's computer and enable an analysis of the visitor's use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about the visitor's use of this website (including the truncated IP address) is generally transmitted to and stored on a Google server.
Google Analytics is used on this website exclusively with the extension "_anonymizeIp()". This extension ensures the anonymization of IP addresses by truncation, thus preventing direct identification of individuals. The extension truncates the IP address within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area before it is transmitted to Google. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. The IP address transmitted by the browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.
On behalf of the website operator, Google will use the collected information to evaluate website usage, compile reports on website activity, and provide the website operator with other services related to website and internet usage (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR). The legitimate interest in data processing lies in optimizing this website, analyzing website usage, and adapting its content. The interests of users are adequately protected through pseudonymization.
Google LLC is certified under the Privacy Shield framework (see listing here) and, on this basis, guarantees an adequate level of data protection. Data transmitted and linked to cookies, user identifiers (e.g., User-ID), or advertising IDs is automatically deleted after 50 months. Data whose retention period has expired is automatically deleted once a month.
Tracking by Google Analytics can be prevented by adjusting the cookie settings for this website. Furthermore, the collection and storage of IP addresses and data generated by cookies can be objected to at any time with effect for the future. The corresponding browser plugin can be downloaded and installed from the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Website visitors can prevent tracking by Google Analytics on this website by clicking on the following link. This will set an opt-out cookie that prevents future data collection when visiting this website.
Further information on data usage by Google, setting and opt-out options, can be found in Google's privacy policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) and in the settings for the display of advertisements by Google (https://adssettings.google.com/authenticated).
